If you grew up in the Philippines, chances are you matured with your grandma or aunties (locally called as Titas) informing you that your skirt is too brief, your reds are too red, your blouse is too transparent, or you went house too late (or early since you did can be found in at 2AM). There would also be times that they have called you out for laughing too loud or have asked you “Who was that guy on that image in Facebook? Why was his arm around you? Is he your sweetheart? Malagkit ang tingin niya sayo (He looks at you differently).” or something to that degree. Recently, I did something any good Dalagang Pinay babes would never ever do (perhaps because the Dalaga had no iPhone prior to): I downloaded Tinder and swiped ideal a number of times. Anything that does not suit that cookie-cutter mold, may it be less or more, was something … Why?
